Managing Partner, Corinium Advisory
Profile
Robin Smith is a British software operator and board director. He is Managing Partner of Corinium Advisory and founder of Corinium Capital, and is based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
He is a C-level technology leader with over twenty years scaling SaaS and enterprise software businesses from early stage to maturity across the UK, EMEA and the Americas. He has owned revenue and led go-to-market, operations, cross-functional programme delivery and M&A at companies scaling from Series A to the Fortune 500.
He has built teams from the first commercial hire to a scaled organisation, and built and led the first European presence for US headquartered software companies, from a Y Combinator startup through to a venture backed scale-up. Critically, he has operated across the full spectrum of ownership models: bootstrapped, venture backed, private equity owned and publicly listed. His leadership style is people-focused and pragmatic: set the vision, cut through complexity and deliver.
Most recently he was Chief Operating Officer of Regnology, the regulatory reporting and supervisory technology provider backed by Nordic Capital and CPP Investments. There he led due diligence and integration across four acquisitions, and supported the partial divestiture to CPP Investments.
